By the end of September last year, I had finally managed to find the time to go on a road trip which took me no longer than 6 days. Actually, it was planned to last 8 days if it wasn’t for a few sudden changes. This was the first time I don’t check flight tickets to go somewhere new. The idea was to travel along the the Black-Sea Region in Turkey, from Istanbul to Rize. But, as the journey would have very long, we decided to stop every day in a city of our choice.

Safranbolu was our 2nd stop. With its Historic buildings listed as World Heritage by the UNESCO and cozy streets, I can say it was one of the most memorable places I’ve visited in Turkey so far. And that is why I want to share some of the pictures I took during my 24h visit.
